So So Smooth

26 Jul

Smoothies are a gift from the Gods. They can be packed with nutrients, protein, superfoods, and greens; yet taste like a treat. They are simple yet delicious, and the perfect pre or post workout snack.

If you aren’t smoothie-licous, you really need to start.

Or…you can make your own using whatever you may have in your kitchen! I love to experiment with smoothie recipes using any of the following ingredients I may have around:

  • Chia seeds, flaxseed, or any other kind of seed that can add nutrients
  • Orange juice
  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla flavouring
  • Kale
  • Spinach
  • Avocado
  • Cucumber
  • Ginger
  • Parsley
  • Peanut butter or other nut butters
  • Oats
